Careers not Jobs

We’re committed to empowering our community of learners and creating great workplaces. That goes for our team too. We work with clear intent and our manifesto is the foundation of our core values. These are not buzzwords strung together – they keep us honest, aligned, and moving forward with ambition. Please visit this link to view our open positions:

At Wisetail, we realize employees have lives outside of the office walls, so we want to provide creative ways to not only to retain our talent – but invest, support and advocate for ways to help each individual grow personally and professionally. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive employee benefits, and creative incentive programs.

We love Bozeman and think you will too. Here are some of our favorite places to eat, drink, and play.

Moving to a small town in Montana can be intimidating, so we put together some places and activities that we think make Bozeman a great place to live. Bozeman is a thriving city based in the Rocky Mountains and attracts people from all over the world.

Wisetail LMS favorite, Bridger Bowl.

Bridger Bowl

The nonprofit ski area is 16 miles north of Bozeman on the east slopes of the Bridger Mountain Range. It has eight chairlifts and almost 3,000 vertical feet of skiing, with wide-open slopes, glades, and plenty of steep, technical lines for those feeling sporty enough to hike the Ridge.

Bozeman Taproom

Four blocks from our office, the Taproom features craft beer from all around the globe. A rooftop patio and regular live music makes this a great summer spot. You’d also be hard pressed to find a beer you didn’t like here.

Wisetail LMS favorite, Bozeman Taproom.

Treeline Coffee Roasters

Treeline was born in the mountains of Bozeman, MT. They are a small batch, artisan coffee roaster in pursuit of an unforgettable cup of coffee. Treeline prides themselves on sourcing excellent coffees seasonally and roasting each bean to highlight the unique flavors that make for a rich and dynamic cup of coffee. Bike on over to cash in a hot lap.

Wild Crumb

Tucked away in a Northside neighborhood, you can find this gem of a bakery – owned by twin sisters who get up before dawn every morning to serve up the best gluten around. Voted Bozeman Choice Bakery 3 years straight!

Wisetail LMS favorite sandwich shop, Wild Crumb.
Wisetail LMS favorite, Dave's Sushi.

Dave’s Sushi

Sushi in Montana? You heard that right. Dave started this local hotspot to feed his sushi addiction in 2003. With fresh fish flown in daily, Dave’s is known for it’s eclectic rolls and friendly atmosphere modeled after the “hang-loose” style of Hawaii. (Do a dance to unlock the secret menu.)

Peet’s Hill

The quickest access to the best sunset strolls and legendary sledding in downtown. At the base of the hill, you’ll find the Chris Boyd Bridge which Wisetail Works contributed to help improve safety, water, and welcomes the park’s visitors. Step out our front door and take your pup for a mid-day walk to the top, or keep going for a hot lap.

Wisetail LMS favorite, Gallagator Trail.

Gallagator Trail

Gallagator Trail is easily accessible outside the HQ and features a climbing boulder, creek, and community gardens. Part of the “Main Street to the Mountains” initiative that our neighbors at GVLT are building, the Gallagator runs from Main Street to the foothills of the mountains. Many of our employees take this trail daily to commute to and from work.
