A FITNESS TRACKER FOR YOUR LMS

Introducing VITALITY

What if you had a fitness tracker for your LMS?

We thought about this last year. We thought about the array of reports available in Wisetail’s system. And we thought about the handful of measurements showing LMS engagement.

When we looked at all the measurements and what they told us, we realized we were looking at something groundbreaking. We were looking at the vital signs of an LMS.

And what if we could take those vital signs and turn it into a single number that tracks the health of your LMS? We did.

We call it VITALITY.

VITALITY is our proprietary metric. It combines user activity data from both required and discretionary actions to give you a measurement of engagement in your LMS.

What’s VITALITY?

VITALITY is our proprietary metric. It combines user activity data from both required and discretionary actions to give you a measurement of engagement in your LMS.

Much like how a fitness tracker shows whether your workout was up to par or you had a good night’s sleep, VITALITY tracks how well your LMS is working.

Your VITALITY score increases as your LMS engagement increases. We know the best system is the one learners actually enjoy using, so we based VITALITY on that.

VITALITY is all about finding out what drives performance for your organization so you can get the most value from your LMS.

A healthy LMS is like a healthy body. Staying fit yields all sorts of great side benefits. Your mood and sleep improve. It’s easier to focus. You are, overall, just better.

A healthy LMS does the same. Employees are trained faster. They’re less likely to leave. And an engaging learning environment bolsters company culture and helps your organization become a great place to work.

VITALITY is all about finding out what habits and approaches help drive performance for your organization so you can get the most value from your LMS.

Theories are great, but what does it actually tell me about LMS engagement?

We tested VITALITY out to see if our interpretation of the data could be connected to any key performance indicators. Because, you know, numbers are nice, but they have to mean something.

Thankfully, one of our restaurant partners shared a customer satisfaction index with us. We compared the location data with that location’s VITALITY score and found a positive correlation between the VITALITY and customer satisfaction scores.

Of course, simply tracking your workouts isn’t enough to reach a fitness goal. If you want to hit a certain half marathon time, you need to consult someone who can help you sidestep the lengthy trial-and-error process of figuring out what training methods work and what don’t.

To that end, we don’t just toss a VITALITY score your way and tell you to figure it out. Your Wisetail Client Experience team works with you to incorporate best practices into your L&D strategy.

We understand that your organization’s LMS is one of many moving parts. It’s near impossible to experiment with a learning strategy in a fast-paced industry. We’re confident that VITALITY gives you an opportunity to fine-tune your L&D strategy and quantify the results.

Take a look at VITALITY and see how we use our data to help our partners make educated decisions to solve real-world business challenges like employee retention, time-to-productivity, learner engagement, and employee happiness.
