Shane Johnson

Though he got his start in Dallas, Texas, Shane has made Bozeman his home for the last decade. He began his career at only 16 years old, and steadily progressed from basic logo/branding and illustration, to web design, to UX/UI design.

After earning a graphic design degree from Montana State, Shane gained valuable experience at several local agencies and as a freelancer, and then parlayed that experience into his position here at Wisetail, as our Senior Product Designer. He loves working to make our platform both aesthetically pleasing and highly usable.

Outside of the office, you’ll find that Shane’s creativity spans beyond product design and into music. He creates and releases electronic music under a label he runs with a friend. He also enjoys hiking, cooking, and camping with his family.
